IT Support Engineer (Field & Desktop)

We are looking for a hands-on IT Support Engineer to manage installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user hardware and devices.

You will act as the face of the company at client locations, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering excellent technical support.

Must Have

  • Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 and hardware troubleshooting
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, LAN, ping test)
  • Ability to independently handle onsite support visits
  • Good communication and client interaction skills
  • Strong problem-solving attitude
  • Willingness to travel frequently to client sites

Nice to have

  • Experience in field support or managed IT services
  • Knowledge of ISP/Fiber setups and ONT devices
  • Familiarity with IP Telephony systems
  • Exposure to Digital Signage solutions
  • Experience with ticketing/helpdesk tools
  • Basic understanding of routers/switches

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, and printers
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS and drivers
  • Setup and maintain IP Phones and ensure connectivity
  • Install and troubleshoot ONT devices for internet connectivity
  • Configure and maintain Digital Signage systems
  • Diagnose and resolve basic network issues (IP, cabling, ping)
  • Visit client locations and ensure smooth IT operations
  • Log activities and update/close support tickets on time
  • Coordinate with internal teams for escalations (L2/L3 if needed)
