We are looking for a System Administrator to manage and maintain our backend IT infrastructure.

You will be responsible for virtualization, storage, server health, and data protection, ensuring high availability and security across systems using tools like Proxmox and Acronis.

Must Have

  • Strong knowledge of Linux (Proxmox environment) and Windows Server
  • Experience with virtualization platforms
  • Hands-on experience with backup and recovery solutions
  • Understanding of Active Directory and file permissions
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage systems independently

Nice to have

  • Experience with Acronis Backup, EDR, or Email Security
  • Acronis or relevant certifications
  • Familiarity with NAS, RAID configurations
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios)
  • Exposure to data center environments

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage virtual machines (VMs) in Proxmox environments
  • Configure and maintain NAS storage, RAID arrays, and access permissions
  • Manage and monitor backup schedules using Acronis
  • Perform data recovery and disaster recovery drills
  • Monitor and respond to threats using Acronis EDR & Email Security
  • Handle patch management and server updates
  • Monitor infrastructure health using tools like Nagios
  • Manage file server permissions and access control (FS-adds)
  • Ensure system uptime, performance, and data security
